Reservations can be taken by email, phone, or letter and are accepted as your intention to book.

 

Deposits of £100 per guest will secure the booking for the whole chalet booking or £100 per guest for individual bookings. No contract exists between Chalet La Bas and you until the deposit has been received and confirmed by us. Please check details carefully as we cannot be responsible for errors.

 

Balance of payment is due 8 weeks (12 weeks for Christmas and New Year bookings) before arrival or at that time if arrival is less than 8 weeks away.

 

Payment Methods in order of preference are:

 

Deposits: Via our secure Paypal link on the Prices page of this website

 

Balance Payments: On-line or in branch to Barclays UK account  " S J Nash, Sort Code:20-07-82, Account Number xxxxxxxx. ( This will be advised by separate email)

Credit card or Debit card via PayPal using the website link. (see prices page) but please note that

Paypal balance payments will incur a 2.5% surcharge.

 

Cancellations must be advised in writing (emails ok) &/or by telephone immediately with the following refunds:

 

100% of the balance if cancellation advised  8 weeks (12 weeks for Christmas and New Year bookings) prior to intended arrival date

If cancellation is made after 8 weeks prior to arrival date (12 weeks for Christmas and New Year bookings), no refund will be paid. Therefore ensure that you have adequate travel insurance to cover this eventuality

 

The booking deposit is non-refundable

 

Changes to your booking are possible within reason but cannot be guaranteed in all circumstances. If we have to change your holiday we will inform you immediately. If you are unhappy with the changes we will refund all money you have paid, including deposits. We cannot be liable for any changes caused by events beyond our control such as power cuts, floods, storm damage, bad weather and water shortages etc.

Inventory (summer holidays only) exists for the chalet and should be checked on arrival.

 

Checking in & out is after 16:00 for check-in and before 10.00 for check-out. It is possible to arrive early and leave your luggage and go for a days skiing. Your room will then be ready for your return from the slopes

 

Insurance is each guests responsibility as is possession of a valid passport and visa if required.

 

The chalet is strictly non-smoking.

 

Descriptions and pictures on the website are given in good faith. However, changes do occur, in particular, we are always trying to upgrade the facilities. We are not liable for any errors in the descriptions.

 

The Chalet is maintained in good order. Any faults or breakages should be notified to us immediately. We reserve the right to enter the rooms at any time to remedy problems.

 

We do not accept liability for loss or damage to guests’ possessions or motor cars during their stay. This includes any loss of data or work as a result of using the chalets computers, network and/or internet.

 

Guests must notify any damages and remedial payment may be required. We reserve the right to refuse to accommodate anyone who refuses to comply with our damages and breakages policy.

 

All guests are expected to respect neighbours at all times. This includes disturbance, privacy and any other public nuisance activities. Failure to comply will result in immediate cancellation of the guilty person(s) stay.

 

In a shared chalet ( with guests other than your own group)  midnight is the beginning of quiet time so everyone gets a good nights rest.

If you have booked exclusive use of the chalet then you can set your own rules (within reason) as long as you do not disturb the neighbours

 

There are no facilities for your own catering.

 

Please advise of any food allergies at the time of making the first contact.

 

Please advise if you or any of your group are Vegetarians or Vegans.

 

We reserve the right to refuse to accommodate anyone who is found guilty of seriously impairing the enjoyment of the other guests and the contract between us and the guilty party shall cease to exist.

 

Indoor shoes should be worn at all times within the chalet

 

All off-piste skiing is at your own risk and not advised without a competent, qualified instructor.

 

Booking a stay at Chalet La Bas implies acceptance of all the above conditions and acknowledges that the conditions have been read and understood.
