CLB truly is a home from home in the Alps. Over the past 15 seasons, we have built a regular base of guests who definitely have become our friends. So whether you book the whole chalet as a group or come alone, you will always find good company and someone to ski with. You don't have to be the "life and soul of a party type" , just to enjoy and appreciate the really good things in life: mountains, good food, wine and snow.
We should add, in fairness, Chalet la Bas does not have easy access to nightlife and most of the entertainment happens at home.
Being down in the valley has big advantages. We are situated within easy access to many ski areas. Just 10 minutes and we are in La Plagne, 30 minutes to Tignes. La Rosiere is 15 minutes and Sainte Foy 25. We can even be piste-side in La Tania in the 3 Valleys in 40 minutes. All this gives us 2000km+ of piste on hand, not to mention almost limitless off-piste.
We can provide the transport to enjoy all on offer as well as the daily 5 minute shuttle to our home resort of Les Arcs.

And finally about us. We have managed (years ago, now..) holiday resorts for a Danish tour operator all over Southern Europe. We have also run our own restaurants, both in Spain and the South of England. So, we sort of know what we are doing, well, at least Connie does!
